Women’s Golf Introduces 2026-27 Incoming Class

Defending Ivy League champions bolster roster
NEW YORK — Head coach Amy Weeks officially introduced three newcomers to the 2026-27 Columbia women's golf roster on Monday. The incoming class includes three standout first-year student-athletes who bring impressive championship accolades, international experience, and strong community leadership to Morningside Heights.
"We are excited about this group and welcome them to NYC and Columbia University," Weeks said. "Our coaching staff worked hard to identify players that we believe will have an impact here over four years. They have brought in good people, good students, and talented players. I believe in each of them and am excited about the opportunity to work with them on a daily basis. Roar, Lion, Roar!"

Coco Wang – Fy. – 5-6 – CC – Harbin, China / Sendelta International Academy Shenzhen
Prior to Columbia: Competed extensively across AJGA, U.S. Women's Amateur, and international junior circuits … Placed third at the 2024 AJGA FM Global Championship presented by John D. Mineck Foundation … Recorded a third-place finish at the 2024 Northern Junior Championship … Placed 4th at the 2024 AJGA Golf Performance Center Junior … Captured victory at her first AJGA qualifier in China during the summer of 2024, winning in a playoff after firing seven birdies in the final round … Recipient of the Physics Academic Award (Top 5%, 2023) … Active member of the Ball Love Peer Charity Foundation since 2020, regularly donating her scholarships to support impoverished patients with scoliosis.

Prior to Columbia: Four-year varsity golfer who captained the boys varsity golf team throughout high school at Avenues The World School … Recorded a top-20 finish at her final Junior World Championship … Founded and directed the Lady Liberty Cup, a Ryder Cup-style charity golf tournament that raised over $200,000 across four years … Honored as Individual Honoree of the Year for Minds Matter NYC … Serves as Junior Ambassador to the Liberty National Golf Foundation … Received a National Merit Commendation.
