Men's Golf in Fourth Place at Quechee Club Collegiate

QUECHEE, Vt.—Joshua Suh and Arjuna Anday chipped in fifth place performances in leading the Columbia men's golf team to a fourth place finish in day one Saturday at the Quechee Club Collegiate. Hosted by Dartmouth, the final round will tee off Sunday morning at 9 a.m. at the Quechee Club.
Columbia's five golfers combined to shoot a 292 (plus 4). Suh and Anday both shot a 70 (under-2) to tie for fifth place among 84 golfers. The duo trails the three current leaders Ryan Allison (Colgate), Josh Goldenberg (Penn) and Billy Walthouse (Rhode Island) by two strokes. The trio all shot a 68 (under-4).
Rounding out Columbia's day one performances include Mert Selamet, who finished 26th with a 74 (plus 2), Nick Brisebois who totaled a 78 (plus 6) and Christopher Chu, who finished in 77th place with an 83 (plus 11). Also competing as an individual is Jeremy Perna who is in 40th place with a 76 (plus 4).
Rhode Island leads the 15-team competition with a combined 279 day one score (under-9), followed by Penn at 286 (under-2), Harvard at 287 (plus 1) and Colgate (292) and Columbia
