OPENING TIPS
• The Lions come into the trip on a six-game winning streak that began Nov. 17 with a 61-59 victory over reigning NEC champion Robert Morris. The winning streak is the longest since the Lions rolled off seven straight during the 2016-17 non-conference season. A win Sunday would tie the longest winning streak of Columbia's Div. I era. The program's longest winning streak all-time is eight (1985-86, NCAA Div. III).
• Over the course of its winning streak, Columbia is holding opponents to 53.2 points per game, 33.6 percent shooting and 20.2 percent from 3-point range. The Loins have held their opponents to fewer than 50 points three times and boast a +17.1 scoring margin. Four of the six wins have come when trailing in the fourth quarter, where the Lions are outscoring opponents 110-73 and outrebounding opponents 78-52.
• Columbia is coming off a dominating 99-43 victory over NJIT last Saturday in New York. The Lions set a program record for margin of victory against a Div. I opponent (56) and posted six different single-game marks toward the top of the team record book.
• Abbey Hsu is the reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Week. The first year starter scored a game-high 18 points against NJIT, hitting 7-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from 3-point range. The honor was her first.
