ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Columbia first-year divers
Michelle Lee and
Briget Rosendahl wrapped up their week at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Wednesday with a pair of top-15 finishes in the platform diving competition.
Â
"Bridget and Michelle became the first zones finalists for Columbia women's diving in many years," said Columbia diving coach
Scott Donie. "They both had a good opportunity to qualify for the NCAA meet. They are definitely capable of competing on the national stage. I am confident that they will continue to improve and we will be back next year and hope for a better result. Overall, this was a fantastic season for both of our freshmen divers."
Â
The duo started off the week competing in Monday's 3-meter competition, with Rosendahl advancing to the finals and placing 18th overall with a cumulative score of 486.05.
