Women's Tennis to Compete at West Point Invitational

Four Lions—Caitie Sullivan, Sophie Raizadeh, Sarah Rahman and Brianna Williams—will travel to West Point Invitational this weekend.
WEST POINT, N.Y.—Four Columbia women's tennis players will travel to West Point, N.Y. for the Army West Point Invitational this weekend.
Competing for the Lions are sophomore Caitie Sullivan, first-year Sophie Raizadeh, junior Sarah Rahman and senior Brianna Williams. In singles, Sullivan and Raiszadeh will compete in the Singles A Bracket, Rahman will play in the Singles D Bracket and Williams is in the Singles E Bracket. In doubles, Raiszadeh and Sullivan team up in Doubles A and Rahman and Williams are in the Doubles C Bracket.

Friday, September 27
Play starts at 9:00 AM.
Two rounds of main draw doubles, one round of main draw singles
A doubles and the top half of the B doubles flights and A, and B, singles flights will be played outdoors at the Malek Outdoor Tennis Center.
Bottom half of the B doubles and C doubles flights and C singles and D singles flights will be played indoors at Lichtenburg Indoor Tennis Center.
E singles will play at Match Point Tennis Academy, 1717 NY-17M, Goshen, NY 10924. After doubles the E singles players need to check into the front desk of the Lichtenberg Tennis Center to get rides to the Match Point Tennis Academy.
Saturday, September 28
Play starts at 9:00 AM.
Two rounds of doubles, two rounds of main draw singles, and two round of consolation singles.
A, B C, D singles and A and B doubles main draw matches will be outside and E singles and all consolation matches will be inside.
Sunday, September 29
Play starts at 9:00 AM.
Singles semifinals, followed by the doubles finals, concluding with the singles final.
All matches will be played outdoors.
