NEW YORK – Columbia Women's Rowing head coach Emerson Curry announced, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, the addition of Serra Sevenler to the Lions staff as assistant coach, joining Columbia after spending the past season as the Women's Varsity Coach at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
"I'm thrilled to have Serra join our program as a member of the staff," said Curry. "She is a natural coach with experience developing juniors, masters, and collegiate rowers. We are looking forward to seeing her impact at Columbia as we start to gear back up for the season."
Sevenler joins the Lions after spending the 2019-20 season as the Women's Varsity Coach at RIT. During her time at RIT, Sevenler also joined the Penn Athletic Club Rowing Association for the 2019-20 season as the Gold Program Head Girls Rowing Coach.
