Cambridge, MA -- Sophomore
Aziza Ganihanova swam for a sixth place finish in the A finals of the 500 free. With a time of 4:48.88, Ganihanova earned the Lions 24 points. Through the second day of competition at the 2020 Women's Swim and Dive Ivy League Championships, Columbia sits in fifth with a score of 265.5.
Competition resumes tomorrow at Blodgett Pool. Preliminaries are scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M. while finals will dive off at 6:00 P.M..

Olivia Jubin touched the wall first in the C finals (4:52.20), dropping over two seconds from her preliminary time. First-year
Allison Martin produced the same result one event later, winning the 200 IM C finals in 2:02.67.
Donie's divers made their debut, competing in the 1M event.Â
Alice Diakova led the Lions in her first League Championship appearance. The sophomore placed sixth in the A finals, recording a 249.45. Competing in the B finals, seniors
Briget Rosendahl and
Michelle Lee secured 16th and 18th place, respectively.
Day two closed out with the racing of the 200 free relay. Comprised of seniors

Georgia Young, and Martin, the Lions' top team took sixth in 1:32.97.
