Men's Golf Plays Dual Match Against Richmond

Columbia finishes with a one-under-par 287, DJ Francey shoots at two-under-par 70, Nathan Han cards a one-under par 71.
MIDLOTHIAN, Va.—Columbia combined for a one-under-par 287, DJ Francey shot a two-under-par 70, and Nathan Han carded a one-under-par 71 during Friday's dual match against Richmond at Independence Golf Club. Richmond finished with a 13-under-par 275.

Columbia and Richmond played 18 holes with six players competing for each team. Four individual scores counted toward a team score.
Francey led the Lions with a fourth place finish at 70. He registered four birdies on the day. Han tied for fifth place with a 71 and three birdies. Wyatt McGovern placed third among Columbia golfers and concluded the 18 holes in eighth place with an Even 72. He finished with a team-high five birdies.
Three Lions finished in a tie for ninth place at two-over-par 72 including Alvin Kwak, Daniel Core, and Pat Healy. William Sung tied for 13th at six-over-par 78 while playing as an individual.
Richmond's Lou Baker won the individual competition with a five-under-par 67.
Independence Golf Club is a par 72, 7,135-yard golf course in Midlothian, Va.
Columbia is back in action at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz. in March.
