RICHMOND HILL, Ga. —The Columbia women's golf team finished in second place at the three-team Ford Invitational Saturday at Ford Field & River Club. The Lions combined to shoot a 310-297-607 in the two-round 36-hole event.
Six Lions competed in the event. Jennifer Wang and Paige Harrison topped the Lions as they both tied for sixth place in the individual standings at seven-over-par 151. Wang carded a 76-75-151, while Harrison finished with a 78-73-151.
Alexis Florio finished in eighth place at 79-73-152, Taylor Zeng took ninth place at 77-76-153, and Allison Paik carded a 12th place finish with an 82-76-158. Competing as an individual, Anne Walsh finished in 11th place with an 83-75-158.
Yale shot a 288-297-585 to finish first in the team standings. Yale's Ami Gianchandani carded a 69-75-144 to take first in the individual standings. Dartmouth finished third at 328-310-638.
The event was scheduled to make up for two lost rounds of the Yale Intercollegiate that were canceled due to rain the fall.
