Lions Register 10 Top-10 Finishes at IC4A/ECAC Championship

Columbia athletes concluded the two-day event with 10 top-10 finishes, including two second-place finishes, a third place and a fourth place finish.

BOSTON — On the final day of the 2022 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships Sunday at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center, Columbia athletes concluded the two-day event with 10 top-10 finishes, including two second-place finishes, a third place and a fourth place finish.
 
On Sunday, Devon Davey finished in second place in the men's 500-meter run in a school-record time of 1:02.08. Chris Balthazar took third place in the 200-meter dash with a school-record 21.18 in today's final. In addition, Columbia's distance medley relay team of Emily Virtue, Alexis Knight, Alex Rodman, and Mary Caroline Heinen took fourth in 11:40.60.
 
On Saturday, Anna Jordahl-Henry tied for first and finished in second place in the women's high jump with a 1.75m/5-8 ¾ jump.
 
Columbia's women finished 12th with a total of 21 points, while Columbia's men finished 10th with 25 total points.
