Baseball 2023 Summer League Wrap-Up

Palfrey named Second Team; Kreutzmann an All-Star
NEW YORK — Columbia baseball had 14 players assigned to various collegiate leagues this summer. The group of Lions were spread out over 10 leagues and 12 teams.

Rising junior Griffin Palfrey was named Second Team All-West Coast League this summer. The rising junior played in 47 games for the Kelowna Falcons as a utility player. Palfrey batted .276 with 43 hits and 23 RBIs in 156 at-bats. On the mound, he appeared in nine games and totaled 31.2 innings, posting a 1.99 ERA with 30 strikeouts.
