Lightweight and Women’s Rowing Complete Racing on Saturday

Lightweight crew hosted Georgetown; women’s crew wins Woodbury Cup

NEW YORK — Columbia lightweight rowing hosted Georgetown at Overpeck Park while women's rowing participated in the Woodbury Cup and Dauphiny-Hewitt Cup at Princeton.

The women's rowing crew won the Woodbury Cup over Northeastern for the second straight year. Columbia Barnard rowing is celebrating 40 years of rowing. The 1V8 finished in front of Northeastern on Saturday and the 2V8 and 2V4 also had good showings at Carnegie Lake.

The women's 1V8 crew finished at 6:20.4, nearly six seconds ahead of Northeastern. Full results can be found by clicking here.
