Track & Field Wraps Up IC4A/ECAC Championships

Camylin Blake, Devon Davey win bronze medals
FAIRFAX, Va. — The Columbia track & field team traveled south for the IC4A/ECAC Championships this weekend hosted by Geoge Mason in Virginia.
Camylin Blake had the highest finish for the women, earning a bronze medal in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.78.
Devon Davey led the way for the men, winning a bronze medal in the 400m dash with a time of 47.13.
The men's 4x400m relay also earned a bronze medal with a time of 3:10.95.
The men placed 21st in the competition with 12 points, while the women finished 26th with six points.

Meanwhile, a few Lions competed at Last Chance meets over the weekend. The highlights included Obiora Okeke setting a new record in the discus at the West Point Twilight with a mark of 56.91m (he also won the shot put again). Justin O'Toole also just missed a record in the 800m with a second place finish and time of 1:47.87.

ON DECK:
NCAA Outdoor Championships are set to begin June 6 in Eugene, Ore. Prelims will begin on May 22 in Lexington, Ky.
