Field Hockey Announces 2026 Schedule

The Lions’ 16-match slate begins Sept. 4 at UC Davis; home opener set for Sept. 11 vs. UAlbany
NEW YORK — Columbia field hockey head coach Niki Miller has announced the program's 2026 schedule. The Lions will play eight matches at home but will open the season on the road Friday, Sept. 4, against UC Davis for the first time in program history.
Following the season-opener, Columbia stays out west to face California on Sept. 6. The Lions return to New York City for their home opener on Sept. 11 vs. UAlbany before hosting LIU for the third straight season on Sept. 13.
Ivy League play commences on Sept. 18 at Cornell. The Lions welcome Quinnipiac on Sept. 20 before hitting the road five days later for a matchup at Brown on Sept. 25. Columbia hosts Monmouth (Sept. 27) and Dartmouth (Oct. 4).
The Lions are away from home for four straight matches when they visit Yale on Oct. 9, LaSalle on Oct. 11 at a neutral site, Penn on Oct. 16, and Hofstra on Oct. 18.
Columbia then completes the regular season with three straight home games. The Lions play Harvard on Oct. 23 and Rider on Oct. 25 before wrapping up with a Senior Day showdown against Princeton on Oct. 30.
The Ivy League Tournament is set for the weekend of Nov. 6-8 and will be hosted by the highest seed.
