HANOVER, N.H. — The Columbia men's swimming and diving team concluded the 2024-25 regular season on Saturday afternoon with a 181.5-118.5 victory over the Dartmouth Big Green in New Hampshire.
The 200 medley relay team got things started with a big win, as the team of
Adam Wu,
Demirkan Demir,
Brian Lee, and
Zion James clocked in with an impressive time of 1:31.11.
Wu had an amazing day, winning two individual events as well. First, he won the 200 free with a time of 1:41.48 and then he won the 200 back with a time of 1:48.96.
Demir also won two individual events, taking first in both breaststroke swims. He won the 100 breast with a time of 55.44 and then won the 200 breast with a time of 2:02.70.
Zach Vasser won the first individual event of the day, touching the wall first in the 1000 free at 9:27.63.
Samuel Eckert just edged out James in the 50 free by .03 seconds, winning with a time of 20.69.
After finishing second in the 1000 free, Stephen Zhukov won the 500 free with a time of 4:33.88.
Lee won the 100 fly with a time of 49.12.
Columbia closed out the meet as the team of Wu, Eckert,
Beri Yang, and James won the 200 free relay with a time of 1:21.05. This was Wu's fourth win of the day.
