Columbia returns to action next weekend at Cornell

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Columbia men's and women's squash teams lost their road contests at Yale on Sunday afternoon.

MEN'S RECAP
No. 3 Yale earned an 8-1 win over No. 8 Columbia on the men's side Sunday. Shaurya Bawa earned Columbia's lone win of the day with an 11-9, 11-7, 11-8 win over Yale's Arav Bhagwati in the No. 2 spot. Columbia drops to 4-6 overall this season and 1-4 in Ivy League action after the loss.

WOMEN'S RECAP
Seventh-ranked Yale took a 7-2 win over No. 9 Columbia on Sunday. The Columbia women's squash team moves to 3-7 overall with a 1-4 record in Ivy play. Simmi Chan and Eugenia Li posted Columbia's two wins of the day. Chan prevailed in four games at the top spot against Yale's Heng Wai Wong. Li also won in four games against Rashi Goverdhanam in the No. 8 spot.
