Annapolis, Md. -- The Columbia men's swimming and diving team also had a group of student-athletes compete in the ECAC Championships this weekend down in Maryland. The Lions finished in third place with a score of 443.
Navy emerged victorious in the competition with a score of 850. Loyola took second place with 461.5 points.
In the first event of the weekend, the Lions' 200 free relay consisting of
Kevin Obochi,
Allen Cai,
Lucas Zhang, and
Ivan Paligorov finished third with a time of 1:21.32.
Brian Lee took first in the 100 fly with a time of 47.98.
Padraig Troy won gold in the 1650 free with a time of 15:51.33.
Seth Roach (1:47.43) and
Holden Carter went 3-4 in the 200 fly.

All of the Lions' qualified divers will begin preparations for the NCAA Zone Diving competition on March 10.
