PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia first-year
Grant Lester was named the Ivy League Men's Golfer of the Month, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Through six rounds in the month of April, Lester's stroke average was 70.00. He averaged -1.00 strokes per round vs. par, combining to shoot 6-under across his six rounds. He finished in the top three in all three of his tournaments, tying for second at the Princeton Spring Invitational (-2), tying for third at the Roar-EE Invitational (-2) and again tying for second at the Ivy League Championship (-2). His finish at Ivies earned him All-Championship Team honors.
Last week, Lester was named the 2024-25 Ivy League Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-Ivy League selection. The Washington, D.C., native earned five top-fives, eight top-10s and a total of 10 top-25s across 11 tournaments this season.
