Field Hockey Announces 2025 Schedule

Lions’ 16-match slate begins Sept. 5 at UAlbany; home opener set for Sept. 7 vs. LIU

NEW YORK — Columbia field hockey head coach Niki Miller has announced the program's 2025 schedule. The Lions will play nine games at home but will open the season on the road Friday, Sept. 5, against UAlbany.
 

Following the season-opener, Columbia hosts LIU for its home opener on Sunday, Sept. 7. The Lions then host Fairfield on Sept. 12. Columbia travels to Quinnipiac for a matchup on Sept. 14.

Ivy League play commences on Sept. 19 vs. Cornell. The Lions then have a week before their next game when they welcome Brown on Sept. 26. Columbia then plays at Rutgers on Sept. 28 and at Dartmouth on Oct. 3.

Columbia then returns to New York City for two more home matches against Hofstra for Alumni Day (Oct. 5) and Yale (Oct. 10) for the Pride game. The Lions then hit the road for a tilt on Oct. 12 at Monmouth. Columbia hosts Penn on Oct. 17 and Wagner on Oct. 19 for the Mullins game.

On Oct. 24, Columbia visits Harvard before hosting Sacred Heart on Oct. 26 for Senior Day. 

Columbia's regular season finale is scheduled for Nov. 1 at Princeton. The Ivy League Tournament is set for the weekend of Nov. 7-9 and will be hosted by the highest seed.
