NEW YORK — Columbia Fencing welcomes its incoming class for the 2025–26 season, head coach Michael Aufrichtig announced today. The talented group features 18 student-athletes, including 15 first-years and one transfer who represent five countries - the United States, Canada, Egypt, China and Singapore.
The Lions are bringing on nine men and nine women. Among them, seven will compete in epee, six in foil and five in sabre.
"What excites me most about this class is not just their international fencing experience and academic success, but their character," said Aufrichtig. "They value accountability, selflessness and growth. That's the foundation of our culture — and helps us continue building a championship legacy."
