Ahmad Haq secured five-straight collegiate wins

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Columbia men's and women's squash teams traveled to Cambridge on Saturday afternoon, where both squads battled host Harvard in Ivy League competition.

On the men's side, the Lions competed in several tight matches, including multiple five-game battles, with notable wins by Yusuf Sheikh and Ahmad Haq. Sheikh opened the day with a strong performance at first singles, while Haq earned a hard-fought five-game victory at fifth singles.

The Columbia women also delivered determined efforts against a deep Crimson lineup, with several matches extending beyond three games. While the Lions pushed hard in several matches, Harvard prevailed on all courts to secure the team win.
