Lipscomb Wins Recurve Gold at Easton Youth & Collegiate Trophy Tournament

Ahn picks up bronze at season-opening event
MANHEIM, Pa. — Sophomore Alena Lipscomb won gold in the Recurve Collegiate Female Division, highlighting the Columbia archery team's performance at the 2026 Easton Youth and Collegiate Trophy Tournament. The Lions competed in their season-opening tournament on Saturday at Spooky Nook Sports.
This is Lipscomb's first collegiate victory. She bested a field of 29, which was cut to 20 due to cancellations from the winter storm. The sophomore from Thailand scored 585 points, hitting 10s with 20 of her 60 arrows and hitting the inner ring 15 times, the most of any archer in the division. Lipscomb bested Colorado Mesa University's Bailey Rogers to take the gold by 13 points.
The Lions also took third, fourth, fifth and sixth places. Junior Michelle Ahn (554) won bronze, senior Lillian Han (552) was fourth, junior Eunice Choi (552) was fifth and first-year Isabella Kim (545) was sixth. Mia Shin and Emily Rosenfeld were 11th and 14th, respectively.
Sophomore Briana Moore topped all Lions with a fifth-place finish in the Compound Collegiate Female division. The original field of 36 was cut down to 27 participants. Moore put 31 of her 60 arrows in the inner ring and totaled 617 points. First-year Cheryl Wong (608) was eighth in her collegiate debut, while senior Giselle DeSousa (607) was ninth. First-year Leoncia White took 13th in her first collegiate event.
Next up for the Lions is the CU Invitational, which they will host the weekend of Feb. 21-22. USA Archery Indoor Nationals is scheduled for the following weekend, Feb. 28 – March 1, in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
