Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships Set for This Weekend at Baltusrol

Championship events run Friday-Sunday
NEW YORK — Columbia will compete in the 2026 Ivy League Men's and Women's Golf Championships this weekend. Both championships will occur at the famed Baltusrol Golf Club this Friday through Sunday in Springfield, New Jersey.
Tee times will be made available on Thursday evening, following the welcome reception. Fans can find the tee times on the championship leaderboards.
The women's team championship is a 6-count-4 format with no substitutions. Columbia's lineup features first year Kristina Xu, sophomore Sarah Shao, first year Emily Zeng, first year Bridget Chantharath, sophomore Christine Chang and first year Camille Thai. Xu owns a team-leading 73.21 stroke average with two victories, four top five, four top 10 and six top-25 finishes, all of which lead the roster. Zeng also owns a tournament victory this spring at the More Than Golf Invitational, also leading the Lions to the tournament title. The six in Columbia's lineup hold the top six stroke averages this season. Zeng (74.17) is second and Shao (75.00) is third.
The first round of the 2026 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship tees off on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Tee times will be in 10-minute increments. The women's second round (Saturday) and third round (Sunday) will also begin at 10:30 a.m.
Team scoring for the men's championship is a 5-count-4 format with a substitution available. Columbia's lineup will be first year Alejandro Formosa, senior George Rubelsky, first year Neil Kulkarni, senior Darren Pang and sophomore Ryan Keyes. First year Sam Johnson will be the team's available substitute. Formosa leads the Lions with a 73.73 stroke average on his rookie season, which includes two top five, two top 10 and five top-25 finishes. Kulkarni owns a team-leading seven top 25s in 10 events. Both have earned multiple top-three finishes. Formosa, Rubelsky (73.96), Kulkarni (74.00) and Pang (74.82) all carry sub-75 stroke averages.
