At Princeton's Weaver Stadium, the Lions were led by another historic performance from Haydn Brotschi, who captured the Ivy League title in the men's 400m with a blistering time of 45.20. This time was not only a personal best and program record, but also was the second fastest time in the history of the Ivy League at the outdoor championships.
Columbia also claimed a championship in the men's 4x800m relay, as the quartet of Nicholas Hayden, Justin Gottlieb, Matt Gatune, and Jacob Van Orden crossed the finish line first in 7:21.61. Brotschi later teamed with Matthew Mazero, Zach Willen, and Max Comfere in the men's 4x100m relay, where the group placed third in 40.23 to add six more points to Columbia's total and shatter the program's all-time record.
