Biography

2024-25 (Senior)
Competed in the Ivy League Championships. Places 3rd in the 100 Y Back against Brown... and 4th in the 200 Y Free against Dartmouth. 

2023-24 (Junior) 
In the Ivy League Championships, he was part of the team to earn fifth in the 400-free relay with a time of 2:55.73. Against Brown, he earned second in the 200 Y Back with a time of 1:50.48, and fourth in the 100 Y Back with a time of 50.82. Against Army, he earned fifth in the 200 Y Back with a time of 1:51.36, and also fifth in the 200 Y Free with a time of 1:40.35.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
Earned his first career victory at Dartmouth on Feb. 4, winning the 200-back with a time of 1:52.09…Came in third in the 200 backstroke (1:50.48) against Army on Nov. 4).

2021-22 (First-Year)
Set personal best times at the 2022 Ivy League Championships in the 200 Back (15th, 1:46.47), 200 Free (18th, 1:38.11), and 500 Free (26th, 2:28.34)...Won the 500 Free (4:38.19) in dual meet action against Cornell...Set a personal best in the 100 Free (47.67) against Navy...Set a personal best in the 50 Back (23.72) at Princeton's Big Al Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2021 graduate of Stuyvesant in Manhattan … Two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American … Trains with Pirates Swim Club in Barbados, where his grandparents live, in the summers … Has been on Barbados junior national team since 2014 ... Named to Barbados’ national CARIFTA teams in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 … Member of the Barbados squads that competed at the Central America and Caribbean Swim Championships (CCCAN) in 2017 (in Trinidad) and 2018 (in Aruba). Between CARIFTA and CCCAN, he won ten gold, five silver and three bronze individual medals, including every 200m backstroke event in his age group at CARIFTA from 2016 to 2019 … Also won 200m back at CCCAN in 2016, 2018 and 2019 …  Qualified for 2019 Pan Am Games and at 7th FINA World Junior Championships.

PERSONAL: Father, Marlon, earned post-doctoral degree from Columbia … Enrolled at Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
