Columbia's 5-2 win over then No. 39 Harvard propelled the men's tennis squad to their highest ranking since 2001 according to collegetennisonline.com. The Lions are now ranked No. 58 in the country, up from No. 72. The spot is the highest the Lions have attained since collegetennisonline.com began its weekly rankings. The Ivy League Champions 2001 Lions peaked at No. 63 on April 24, 2001.

At 3-0 in the Ivy League, the Lions have a shot at the Ancient Eight title, but first must play Yale on Friday at 2 p.m. and score another upset against No. 38 Brown at noon on Saturday. Come see the Lions chase another title at the Dick Savitt Center this weekend.
