Biography

2008-09 Season:  Served as one of the team’s co-captains ... All-American, All-East, and All-Academic ... capped season with a strong showing at the US Intercollegiate Archery Championships – won a bronze in the individual head-to-head competition with her only loss (108-101) coming to eventual champion and two-time Olympian, Jennifer Nichols ... also a member of the three-person recurve team to win silver at the USIAC ... won two gold medals at the East Regional Championship (ERIAC) in the individual and team competitions ... won silver at the US Indoor Championship and the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial tournament ... placed first at both the Connecticut  and Pennsylvania State Indoor Championships.

2007-08 Season: Excellent sophomore season ... made All-American and All-East teams ... chosen for three-person team which secured Women’s Recurve national title for the Lions via defeats of James Madison and Texas A&M ... fifth in Eastern Regionals ... fifth in qualifying for 70-Meter Challenge, then reached bronze medal match ... fourth among collegians in Indoor Regionals/Nationals with 1056, sixth overall ... won the gold medal in the season opener, the Eastern Seaboard FITA, her 548 edging Margot Stuchin by two points.

2006-07 Season:
Enjoyed superb initial collegiate season ... Columbia’s leading scorer for most events in the first half of the season ... earned gold medal in first collegiate event, FITA East, with a 542, the best score of any Recurve archer, in any division ... FITA East represented a homecoming, as it was held at the Reading Archery Club, Goshorn’s (and Sara Mancini’s) home club ... gold medalist at N.Y. State Championships, as her 549 led all divisions ... won Eastern Regionals with 99-98 victory over highly-rated Desiree Sparano of ACCC ... tremendous consistency in Mail-In shoots — shot 280 in December and January shoots, 279 in February ... took two seconds and a third ... shot 1061 on first day of Texas Shootout ... 12th in FITA round of USIAC, helping her team to second place.

Pre-Columbia: Top 10% of U.S. Junior archers ... member of the Pennsylvania JOAD (Junior Olympic Development) team.

At Conestoga Valley High: Played tennis.

Personal: Majoring in environmental science with a concentration in Hispanic studies.
