Sarah Parady

Sarah Parady joined the Columbia football program in January 2024 as the team’s director of on-campus recruiting and social media. Parady has gained experience since her undergraduate days at Marist, and has seen stops at Harvard and Navy. She most recently served as an account executive at Just Play Sports Solutions.
 
Parady spent the the spring of 2023 with Navy where she was the director of on-campus recruiting. She was also a part of Harvard’s staff, originally as an administrative assistant in 2020 and was elevated to administrative coordinator. With the Crimson, she assisted with on-campus recruiting events and developed social media strategies for the football program, among other responsibilities.

Parady began her career in college athletics as an undergrad at Marist, serving as the football program's equipment manager, social media coordinator and offensive quality control specialist from 2013-18. During her stint, she ran the program's social media accounts, provided quality control for the offense, ordered and fixed equipment, assisted with travel and meal plans, and filmed practice and games for NFL scouts and coaches. 

Parady added more responsibilities in January 2016, when she joined Marist's sports information office as an intern and reporter. In her 32 months in the SID office, she created a video segment called, "Marist Minute," which appeared on the athletic department's social media platforms. 

In May 2017, she joined the Hudson Valley Renegades, the High-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the New York Yankees, as a field reporter and journalist. Parady produced content for postgame packages, which appeared on the team's social channels and milb.com. In August 2018, joining the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference as a new media fellow. In her role with the MAAC, she served as the league's primary sport contact for cross country, swimming and diving, men's and women's golf, and indoor track and field.

After four months at the conference level, Parady returned to The Empire State to work for FOX News as a production assistant on both the television and radio side.

Parady earned a bachelor's degree in communication with an emphasis in sport communication from Marist in 2017. Her father, Jim, was the head football coach at Marist from 1992-2023 and was he the longest tenured coach in the country upon his retirement.
