2016-2017: Was the regular 3 seat rower for the varsity-8 during the regular season... Rowed from the bow for the IRA National Championships varsity-8 crew.

2015-2016: Rowed in the bow position for the varsity-8 for early season events, moving to the 2 seat for the Geiger Cup, Subin Cup, Drexel/Delaware and Harvard meets... Also was in the 2 seat for the varsity-8 at the EARC Sprints and the 3 seat for the 2016 IRA National Championship-winning varsity-8... Competed for a second straight year in the Henley Royal Regatta.

2014-2015: Competed at the EARC Sprints for the 2nd varsity-8... Rowed from the 2 seat for the varsity-4 at the IRA National Championships... Took over the bow for the varsity-8 at the Henly Royal Regatta.

High School: Four Varsity Letters in rowing, captain in 2014… Participated in Men’s Varsity 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x… Winner of the Men’s Varsity 2x at the Youth Nationals in 2014… Earned fifth place in the 2x at Head of the Charles as a sophomore, second place as a junior… Named Most Valuable Rower for Saugatuck Rowing Club in 2013.

Personal: Mother and father are Kathy and Christopher Monahan… Brother Owen Monahan rowed for Hobart and William Smith College… Sister Kayleigh Monahan swam for Colby College… Father played lacrosse for University of Miami.
