2024-25 (Freshman): (ITF) top 2 finish in PV at DYC tri-meet, won PV with height of 4.63m at Columbia’s home meet, new PV PR mark of 4.94 at Scarlet Knight Open, another top 2 finish at Kane Invite and made it to PV finals at Ivy Indoor Championships (OTF) top 3 finish and season’s best PV performance of 4.75m height at Navy Invite, competed in PV at Ivy Outdoor Championships to end freshman season
Liam Wright is a 5'10" pole vaulter from West Hartford, Connecticut. While there, he was a New England champion, three-time state open champion, and New Balance National Rising Stars champion. He also was a two-time All-State student and athlete and received the Dale Harper Award. Academically, Wright was an AP scholar with distinction and an elected member of his school's student body government.
