Tied for eighth out of 60 players in the stroke play portion of the Ivy Intercollegiate at Baltusrol (Oct. 10), shooting rounds of 74 and 71 to card a 1-over-par 145 ... Fired a collegiate-low round of 70 at the Columbia Classic (Feb. 11-13) and her way to a 2-over-par finish and a tie for 14th in the 80-player field ... Took sixth with rounds of 72 and 75 at the St. John's Invitational (Apr. 10-11).
2021-22
As a sophomore, earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors after placing 10th at the Ivy League Championship … Concluded her first collegiate season ranked fourth on the team with a 77.29 stroke average (1,623 strokes in 21 rounds), one top-10 finish, and three top-25 finishes … Season-low round was a 73 … In first career Ivy League Championship (April 22-24) in 10th place with a nine-over-par 74-74-77-225 … Finished in 16th place in her collegiate debut at the Boston College Intercollegiate (Sept. 20-21) with an 11-over-par 76-76-75-227.

Paik on May 10, 2002 … Daughter of Ed and Naxin Paik … Has an older brother Justin, who also attends Columbia and majors in engineering … Brother competes on Columbia’s club ice hockey team … Owns a black belt in Taekwondo … Favorite sport other than golf: ice hockey … Not many people know this but she scored three goals in her first three shots and two shifts in a game … Favorite sports memory was helping her high school team win its first golf state championship and All-Division state title in any sport … If she could play another sport at Columbia it would be lacrosse … Selected Columbia for its balance of rigorous academic pursuits, supportive athletic development, the opportunity to play for Coach Amy Weeks, and chance to compete for Ivy League and NCAA Championships … Chose Columbia over offers from other Ivy League schools, SEC, ACC and Big 10 schools … Enrolled at Columbia College … Majoring in French.
