Biography
At Long Beach: Earned four varsity letters in swimming ... captain of the swim team her senior year ... set three high school records, in the 200 IM, 100 free and 400 free relay ... finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke and sixth in the 100 breaststroke at the 2008 Empire Games ... finalist at the Southern sectionals in 200 breaststroke in 2007 ... finished second at Eastern Zones in 200 breaststroke in 2007 ... took third place at the Nassau County High School Championships in 200 IM, sixth in 100 free, second in the 200 medley relay and third in the 400 free relay in 2008 ... personal bests include 2:26.2 (200 breaststroke), 2:15.1 (200 IM), 1:09.7 (100 breast) and 55.2 (100 free).
Personal: Daughter of Kris and Jeff Smith ... born 9-15-90 ... plans to study pre-med.
