GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Two years after finishing in the top three at the Ivy League Championships, the Columbia men's golf team put together a title-worthy final round, coming from two strokes behind to win the Ivy League team title.
Three Columbia players finished with All-Ivy League distinction, with first-year Clark Granum leading the team in third place overall at 75-75-72-222, just four strokes behind the individual winner Michael Blodgett from Penn.
"It was all about the first round," head coach Rich Mueller said. "We knew if we played well in the first round, we'd have a chance. We did that. We did not worry about what anyone else was doing, we just worried about our progress and playing our game. I'm very proud of our team."
Individually, Cashel Rosier finished tied for fourth and Austin Quinten finished tied for sixth.
