Women's Swimming & Diving Named CSCA Scholar-Athlete All-American Team

NEW YORK – The Columbia women's swimming & diving team has had much success in the pool this season, and the Lions have added to that list of honors with one that comes from outside the pool: Academic All-Americans.

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCA) released its list of Scholar-Athlete All-American teams on Thursday, February 4, and Columbia women's swimming & diving was one of the schools honored. In all, 341 teams representing 241 colleges and universities made the list by posting grade point averages of 3.00 or better. The Columbia women came in with a team GPA of 3.26.

With the last dual meet of the season completed, Columbia women's swimming & diving turns its focus to the Ivy League Championships, just two weekends away. That meet, which will be held in Cambridge, Mass., will take place over three days, Thursday, February 25 to Saturday, February 27.
