NEW YORK -- Columbia University women's soccer player Lindsay Danielson was recently interviewed on the "FOX Strategy Room" television show, for her involvement with the Level The Field program.
Level The Field is a non-profit organization started by Erica Woda '04CC, a former women's soccer player at Columbia, that uses sports as a vehicle to cultivate social skills and develop a work ethic in students that will prepare them for future academic, personal and professional success and empower them to become leaders and productive members in their communities.
Danielson, a junior goalkeeper for the Lions, is interning with Woda's organization. She helps coordinate the school activities of the youngsters with Columbia student-athletes, and works to bring the two groups together for various clinics and mentoring projects.
