Ivy League Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Andrew Tinari and sophomore Arthur Bosua earned first team honors as two of six members of the Columbia men's soccer team that were named All-Ivy League, announced today by the league's office.
Senior's Bryce Terrill and Antonio Matarazzo found a spot on the second team, while Alex Bangerl and Kyle Jackson were named honorable mention All-Ivy League.
Columbia is fresh of a 10-5-1 season, earning the most wins as a program since 2003. The Lions won seven games in shutout fashion this year, which was the most since 1999.
"In reflection of this season, having taking these steps forward as a team is a proud accomplishment of our group," said head coach Kevin Anderson. "We are proud of the individual recognition that has been gained, and yet are still striving for more as a program and look forward to what appears to be a bright future."
First Team
Arthur Bosua | So. | F | Dix Hills, N.Y. | 13 GP, 12 GS, 11 P, 5 G, 1 A, 3 GWG
This was the first All-Ivy League honor won by the sophomore, who led the team in goals with five and points with 11. Bosua missed three games early in the year, then came back on a scoring rampage throughout 2015. The Dix Hills, New York, native found the net against Ivy League opponents Princeton, Brown and Cornell, including a game-winner in the season finale against the Big Red. Bosua also scored the lone goal in Columbia's 1-0 triumph at Drexel.

Andrew Tinari | Jr. | MF | Holbrook, N.Y. | 15 GP, 14 GS, 8 P, 2 G, 4 A, 1 GWG
The former Ivy League Rookie of the Year continues to make his mark on the conference, helping control the ball in the midfield, while setting up many of his teammates throughout the season. Tinari made headlines early in the year, when teammate Frederick Elliot found him in the middle of the box in double-overtime at Providence. The junior buried a shot past the Friar goalie, giving the Lions a 2-1 road win over the No. 18 team in the country. Tinari also scored in the second half of a 2-1 win over Yale, and added assists against Brown and Princeton.

Second Team
Bryce Terrill | Sr. | D | Scottsdale, Ariz. | 15 GS, 1 A
One of the unsung heroes on the back line, Terrill was featured in every game but one during his senior campaign. The Scottsdale, Arizona, native finished his career with 59 starts and 61 games played, getting in on three assists as a defender. Terrill was a key piece in helping the Lions to seven shutouts, and also helping Columbia to lead the league in shots on goals against with 63, well ahead of second place Dartmouth, who faced 78.

Antonio Matarazzo | Sr. | MF/D | Fair Lawn, N.J. | 16 GS, 1 G, 1 GWG
Like Terrill, Matarazzo finishes his career having been featured in starting lineups all throughout his four years. The Fair Lawn, New Jersey, native hangs up his cleats with 65 games played and 61 starts, scoring seven goals and 18 points as a Lion. In 2015, Matarazzo tallied a second half score against Princeton in the 2-0 Columbia win over the Tigers. This is the third time he is being honored by the Ivy League, as Matarazzo was an honorable mention recipient in both his freshman and junior campaigns.

Honorable Mention
Alex Bangerl | So. | D | Pforzheim, Germany | – 16 GS, 1A
For the second consecutive season, Bangerl became a prominent member of a Columbia back line that made scoring a chore for opponents. Playing alongside Terrill, the Pforzheim, Germany, native was part of a defense that allowed the fewest shots on goal against in the conference with 63, and helped Jackson to seven shutout wins during the season.

Kyle Jackson | Sr. | GK | Paradise Valley, Ariz. | 10-5-1 record, 14 GA, .86 GAA, 7 shutouts, 14 GA, .86 GAA, 46 S.
Jackson finishes his career as one of the most decorated goalies in Columbia soccer history, having been part of the All-Ivy League team all four years. The Paradise Valley, Arizona, native started all 16 contests in 2015, going 10-5-1, logging a career-low .86 goal against average, while shutting out seven opponents. For his career, Jackson won 27 games in net, saved 194 shots, and earned 16 shutouts. The senior went out the right way in the season finale, saving three second half shots in a 1-0 shutout win at Cornell.
