
Men’s Soccer Introduces Eight Newcomers for 2026 Season

Seven first years and one sophomore transfer join the Lions
NEW YORK — Head coach Michael Casper officially introduced eight newcomers to the 2026 Columbia men's soccer roster on Wednesday. The balanced incoming class includes two goalkeepers, two defenders, two midfielders and two forwards.
"I am excited about this group and welcome them to NYC and Columbia University," Casper said. "Tobias Esche, Kevin Valdovinos, and Andrew Fishman have worked hard to help identify players that we believe will have an impact here over four years. They have brought in good people, good students and talented players. I believe in each of them and am excited about the opportunity to work with them on a daily basis come August. Roar, Lion, Roar!"
