NEW YORK - From July 14-18, Columbia will have two athletes representing their countries at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, Canada. Women's swimming junior Trudi Patrick will hit the pool for Jamaica, while former Columbia standout Katie Meili '13CC will swim for the United States.

Patrick is one of five female swimmers to represent Jamaica and will compete in both butterfly events, including the 200 fly on Tuesday, July 14 and the 100 fly on Thursday, July 16. She will also join her teammates in the 4x100m freestyle relay on Tuesday and the 4x100m medley relay on Saturday, July 18.

Meili can be expected to hit the blocks in the breastroke events, including the 200 breast on Wednesday, July 15 and the 100 breast on Friday, July 17. The Colleyville, Texas, native is coming off an outstanding performance at the 2015 Arena Pro Swim Mesa by grabbing a victory in the 100 breast in a meet that featured a number of the swimming world's big names, including gold medalists Michael Phelps, Ryan Lotche and Katie Ledecky.
