NEW YORK – The Columbia baseball team is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's this Saturday. The Lions are also raising funds for Alzheimer's research and have already surpassed their goal of $4,000 and have reached nearly $5,000 in donations.
Columbia will walk 2.5 miles, starting at South Street Seaport to the first tower of the Brooklyn Bridge and back.
To support and donate to the Lions, visit their team page here. All funds raised through Walk to End Alzheimer's further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. The Alzheimer's Association is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
