PHILADELPHIA — After earning a semifinal win over Harvard's Ronan Jachuck, Columbia men's tennis senior Jackie Tang finished as singles runner-up at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships in Philadelphia on Tuesday, falling to Dartmouth's 41st-ranked Charlie Broom.
 
Upon advancing to the final, Tang qualified for next month's Oracle ITA Fall National Championships in Newport Beach, California, next month. The tournament serves as the final tournament of the fall season, running Nov. 6-10 at the Newport Beach Tennis Club.
 
Opening the day with a straight-sets win over Jachuck in the semifinal round, Tang immediately went back to work for the finals match before ultimately falling, 6-3, 7-5 to Broom.
