Columbia Golf to Host Alumni Outing on Friday

The Columbia men’s and women’s golf programs host their annual Alumni Golf Outing on Friday, Oct. 11 at Haworth Country Club; event begins at 1 p.m.
HAWORTH, N.J.—The Columbia men's and women's golf programs will host their annual Alumni Golf Outing on Friday, Oct. 11 at Haworth Country Club. The event begins at 1 p.m. To register and for more information please CLICK HERE.
Participants will have the opportunity to play golf with the Columbia men's and women's teams. The event is open to alumni, friends of the program, faculty, work colleagues, avid golfers, and special invitees! Players can coordinate their own threesome or will be placed with a great group. Every threesome will be paired with a member of the team or a coach. The field is limited to the first 40 players. All entries and sponsorships include green fee, cart fee, base forecaddie fee, use of driving range and putting green, lunch, light hors d'oeuvres, non-alcoholic beverages, facility fee, printing of bag tags and scorecards.
Schedule of Events:
11:45 a.m. – Buffet Lunch
1:00 p.m. – Shotgun Start
5:30 p.m. – Awards & Hors d'oeuvres
Format: As is customary of the Jack Rohan Trophy, the tournament format will be a shamble (with handicap) in foursomes.
Lunch: A buffet lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Prizes, Awards & Team Recognition: Immediately after the round, tournament prizes will be awarded for Low Net Team, Closest to the Hole, and Long Drive. Additionally, members of the Men's and Women¹s teams will be recognized. Please come and celebrate this special moment with our student-athletes!
Sponsorship Opportunities:
$2,500.00 – Eagle Sponsor (Two available)
Includes a threesome AND the Columbia (Male or Female) Golfer with the lowest scoring average
$1,500.00 – Birdie Sponsor (Two available)
Includes a threesome AND the Columbia (Male or Female) Golfer with the second lowest scoring average
$500.00 – Hole Sponsorship (18 available)
Includes golf for you and a member of the Columbia Men's or Women's Golf Team
Sponsorship includes recognition at registration, lunch, cocktail hour, in the program, a photo opportunity with the team, and signage for hole sponsors, as well as a tax deductible donation. Net proceeds will benefit both golf programs. Federal income tax law requires us to inform you that $350/golfer is non-deductible for tax purposes since it represents the value of goods and services.
