HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Columbia women's golf team will continue its spring season this weekend when it travels to Hilton Head to compete in the Wofford Low Country Intercollegiate Saturday and Sunday at Moss Creek Golf Club. Live scoring and live results are available on BirdieFire.com at this link.
Competition begins at the Moss Creek Golf Club with a shotgun start Saturday morning with 18 holes. Pairings have not yet been released. The teams will play the final 18 holes on Sunday beginning with a shotgun start. Practice round is on Friday.
All eight golfers will compete for Columbia. Counting on Columbia's score is first-year Jennifer Wang, senior Amy Ding, first-year Alexis Florio, sophomore Katie Lee and junior Emily Chu. Competing as individuals are first-year Marlene Tartaro, sophomore Qingyi Symba Xu and sophomore Kim Chiang.
Sixteen teams will compete in the field including Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, Brown, The Citadel, Columbia, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Radford, Lander, Limestone, Navy, Presbyterian College, South Carolina Beaufort, USC Upstate, Winthrop and host Wofford.
Pairings will be available later this evening. The Moss Creek Golf Club is a par-72, 5,836 yard course.
