No. 16 Lions Continue Ivy Play vs. Princeton, Penn This Weekend

Columbia will travel to Princeton on Friday for its first Ivy League road test before hosting Penn Sunday
NEW YORK — The No. 16 Columbia men's tennis team continues Ivy League action this weekend, traveling to Princeton on Friday for a 2 p.m. ET matchup before welcoming Penn to the Dick Savitt Tennis Center Sunday at 1 p.m.
Columbia (12-3, 2-0 Ivy) is coming off an unbeaten weekend to start conference play, defeating Yale and Brown in consecutive days to open up Ivy League competition with a 2-0 record for the sixth-straight season. The Lions have not yet dropped a set in singles play through two league matches.
Entering the weekend, the Lions sit atop the Ivy standings with Harvard and Cornell who are also 2-0 in league matches thus far.
The Lions' lineup includes three ranked doubles teams in No. 12 Jackie Tang/Jack Lin, No. 26 Lin/William Matheson and No. 61 Tang/Adam Ambrozy, as well as five ranked singles players in No. 18 Lin, No. 39 Victor Pham, No. 111 Tang, No. 114 Ambrozy and No. 120 Rian Pandole.
SCOUTING PRINCETON
The 50th-ranked Tigers enter Friday's contest at 18-7 overall, including a 2-1 mark in Ivy action. In its most recent outing, Princeton fell to then-No. 45 Harvard, 5-2, on April 7 after defeating Penn and Dartmouth in its prior two matches.
Princeton's roster features one ranked singles player in No. 97 Karl Poling, as well as two ranked tandems in No. 17 Payton Holden/Ryan Seggerman and No. 45 Seggerman/Damian Rodriguez.
The Tigers own a 73-39 advantage in all-time meetings between the two teams, but Columbia has come up on the winning end in nine-straight meetings as well as 17 of the last 18.
SCOUTING PENN
The Quakers (16-8, 0-3 Ivy) dropped from this week's ITA Top 50 after being ranked at No. 50 overall last week.
Penn's Kyle Mautner comes in at No. 79 in this week's singles rankings.
Columbia leads the all-time series against the Quakers, 52-41-1, and have won 13 straight meetings.

The Lions will hit the road for a pair of Ivy matches next week, facing Dartmouth on Saturday, April 20, before taking on Harvard the following day. Both matches are set for 1 p.m. start times.
