The schedule is slated to begin with a doubleheader Saturday, April 20, at 11:30 a.m. and a single game Sunday, April 21, at noon. LEADING OFF
COLUMBIA'S STATUS
The Lions are riding a four-game winning streak after sweeping Yale on the road and taking down Monmouth Wednesday.
Columbia won the first two games in New Haven in extra innings, claiming the opener 8-2 in 13 frames before a 3-2 victory in game two. Ben Wereski lasted 7.2 innings to help the Lions complete the sweep, 4-1. On Wednesday, five pitchers combined to allow three hits and shutout the Hawks.
BROWN'S STATUS
The Bears dropped 2-of-3 at home against Dartmouth over the weekend, but are still in the mix in the Ivy League race at 6-6.
Joe Lomuscio paces the squad, hitting .323 with three homers and 17 RBI. Mark Sluys has five dingers and Parker Phillips is leading Brown in RBI with 21.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Columbia is 65-61-1 all-time against the Bears and have won 13 consecutive contests dating back to 2013. Last season, the Lions took all three games in Providence. Julian Bury went 7-for-12 with a pair stolen bases in the 2018 series.
SENIOR DAY
Prior to Sunday's contest, Columbia will honor the eight members of the senior class. Ethan Abrams, Chandler Bengtson, Ian Burns, Joe Engel, Lucas Hall, Ben Porter, Josh Simpson and Griffin Williams will be recognized for their achievements and helping the Lions post 69 victories overall and a 44-29 (.603 winning percentage).

Columbia Athletics will also welcome back many players from the past for its annual Alumni Weekend.

FIVE-CENT DISCOUNT
Sophomore Josh Nicoloff picked up Ivy League Player of the Week honors Monday after hitting .353 (6-for-17) with three doubles and five RBI in four games. He now leads the squad in batting average at .336 and is hitting .460 in conference play - tops in the Ancient Eight.
ARMS RACE
Columbia's entire pitching staff has been on a tear of late, holding teams to 1.5 runs over its past five games and two or fewer in four of those contests.Â
