NEW YORK — Columbia baseball's Sam Miller was selected 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Northeast Region First Team, as announced Tuesday. He is one of just two Ivy League student-athletes to earn the honor, joining Yale pitcher Jack Ohman.
Miller picked up Ivy League Player of the Year honors and was named to the Hattiesburg All-Regional Team. The McMurray, Pennsylvania, native hit a team-best .338 and led the conference with 16 homers, 57 RBI and 50 runs scored in 49 starts.
Named to the Brooks Wallace Watch List for the nation's top short list in April, Miller is second in Columbia history with 31 career homers, one behind the record of 32 set this season by Anton Lazits. His 16 dingers in 2025 were the second most hit by a Lion in a single season.
The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-America teams will be announced on Friday, June 13, prior to the start of the 2025 NCAA Division I College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.
The finalists for the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I Gold Glove team will be announced via Twitter by Rawlings Sporting Goods (@RawlingsSports) on Monday, June 16. The Gold Glove winners in all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 18.
