Lions to Compete at Princeton Invitational This Weekend

Five Columbia golfers- John Robertson, Arjun Puri, Derek Kim, Daniel Core and Nick Brisebois- take to the links Saturday (36 holes) and Sunday (final 18) for invite.
PRINCETON, N.J.—The Columbia men's golf team will compete in the 33rd annual Princeton Invitational this weekend in Princeton, N.J. Five Lions will play 36 holes on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday at the Springdale Golf Club (par-71, 6,424 yards).
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will feature live scoring via Golfstat at this link. Competition will begin at 7:45 a.m. ET Saturday and 8 a.m. ET Sunday. Tee times and live scoring is available on Golfstat at this link. Practice rounds are scheduled for Friday.
Thirteen teams will compete this weekend at Princeton including seven of the eight Ivy League teams. Those competing including Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Georgetown, Harvard, Loyola (Md.), Penn, Princeton, Rider, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Temple and Yale.
Five golfers will compete for the Lions: sophomore John Robertson, sophomore Arjun Puri, first-year Derek Kim, first-year Daniel Core and junior Nick Brisebois. Updated Columbia season statistics are posted at this link.
The event marks the fourth official invitational of the spring season. The Lions will host their own Columbia Invitational at Montclair Golf Club next Saturday (April 13). The following weekend, Columbia will compete in the 2019 Ivy League Championship, set for April 19-21 at Hidden Creek Golf Club at Egg Harbor Township, N.J.
