NEW YORK – The Columbia lightweight rowing team has one final regular season race this Saturday when it welcomes Delaware and Drexel's heavyweight crews to Overpeck Park.

The Lions held steady at No. 3 in the latest IRA/USRowing Coaches Poll. Columbia has been off since earning a pair of wins over Dartmouth for the Subin Cup on April 21.
DELAWARE'S STATUS
The Blue Hens competed against Michigan and Colgate on the Cooper River with Delaware sweeping all races.
DREXEL'S STATUS
The Dragons were off last weekend after competing at the Kerr Cup Regatta on the Schuykill River. Drexel placed second in the final behind Yale. On the day, the men finished with six medals in their seven finals races.
A LOOK BACK…
Columbia swept four races against both schools last year at Overpeck Park. The Lions turned in a time of 5:43.0 while facing a 4-8 MPH crosswind, which was five seconds faster than the Blue Hens and 10 seconds in front of the Dragons. In the second varsity, Columbia earned an open-water triumph over Drexel. The third varsity won by a similar margin over Delaware and the fourth varsity, making its spring debut, posted a 3.8-second win over the Dragons.
