Columbia has added three pitchers, two infielders, an outfielder, catcher and utility player hailing from seven different states.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of St. Mary's Area High School … Four-year letter winner with the Dutchmen … Named District MVP in 2018 and 2019 … Compiled 98 strikeouts in 40 innings in 2019 … Tossed three consecutive no-hitters as junior.
PERSONAL: Born October 15, 2000 … Son of Jennifer and Mike Beimel ... Has one brother, Michael … Father, Mike, played baseball at Duquesne … Cousin, Joe, had 13-year career in MLB … Enrolled at Columbia College.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 Graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School ... Completed a year at the Hun School of Princeton in 2019 … Four-year letter winner with the Bulldogs … Named first team All-Prep and All-MAPL Prep after hitting .516 with three homers and 23 RBI with the Hun School … Helped Hun School to 22-2 record, No. 25 national ranking and No. 5 Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Region … Two-time All-Area Hitter of the Year (2018, 2019) … All-State selection after batting .413 with two dingers and 20 RBI in 2018 at Hopewell Valley … Also a two-time All-County first teamer (2017, 2018) and MVP of Mercer County Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando … Lettered all four years with the Hornets … Reached semifinals of 2017 and 2019 State Championship Tournament … Regional Championship runner-up in 2018 … Went all the way to State Championship Game in 2017 … 2019 Golden Glove winner and hit six homers with 18 RBI

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Dunn High School … Four-year letter winner with the Earwigs … Batted .506 with 22 stolen bases and 43 runs scored to rank among the state leaders as senior … Hit .551 with 24 steals as junior … Two-time MVP … First team All-Coast Valley League, second team All-CIF Southern Section in 2018 … Helped team set a school-record 15-game winning streak and went on to win the league … Walked off a game in 2019 Southern Sectionals with a steal of home in extra innings … Captain of team in 2019.
