STORRS, Conn. — The Columbia archery team continued its 2020 schedule with a sweep of the collegiate events at UConn's Cupid Class in Storrs, Connecticut, on Saturday, led by wins from sophomore
Meghan Collins in recurve and senior
Sophia Strachan in compound.

The event served as a final tune-up for the upcoming Indoor National Championships.

The recurve saw Collins claim the top spot with a total score of 553, ahead of junior
Christine Kim at 544 and sophomore
Savannah Ward, who took third with a score of 524.

In compound, Strachan topped the leaderboard with a 576 mark. Junior
Brittney Shin followed with a runner-up score of 566, while first-year
Sachiko Keane trailed Shin by just one point to round out the top three.

The Lions will head to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for USA Archery's Indoor National Championships, held from Feb. 21-23. The event, which serves as both the regional and national stage, is contested at 13 regional sites across the United States. Strachan will look to defend her indoor national title from a season ago. Â
