Men's Golf to Compete at UConn Invite at GreatHorse

The last time Columbia competed at GreatHorse in 2019, it won team and individual championships.
HAMPDEN, Mass.—The Columbia men's golf team will compete in its third invitational of the 2021-22 season when it plays at the University of Connecticut Invitational at GreatHorse on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
The three-day 54-hole event will be played at GreatHorse. Live results are available on Golfstat at this link. The teams will play 18 holes on Sunday, 18 holes on Monday and 18 holes Tuesday. GreatHorse is a par-72, 7,093-yard course. More information is available at this link.
Sixteen teams will participate in the event including Army West Point, Bryant, Columbia, Connecticut, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hartford, Hofstra, Iona, Lafayette, LIU, Navy, Rider, Rhode Island, Sacred Heart, St. John's, and Siena.
The last time Columbia competed in the invitational, it claimed both the team and individual titles. The Lions defeated all 14 teams after shooting a seven-over-par 292-292-287-871, while Alvin Kwak took first place in the individual competition with a two-under-par 75-71-68-214.
Columbia is off to a successful start to its 2021-22 season. The Lions claimed The Doc Gimmler Intercollegiate team title in their season opener on Sept. 11-12, then finished in third place at the Cornell Invitational on Sept. 19-20. Columbia's updated statistics are located at this link.
